Callahan‘s Millennium article, ‘The Visual Turn in IR: Documentary Filmmaking as a Critical Method’ is closely linked to his film, ‘toilet adventures’ which is now published at the ANU’s China in the World website, and has been shortlisted for a‘Research in Film’ award by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
